Carbone's offers what I would describe as elevated traditional Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the wait staff are friendly, attentive, and personable. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. However, I was let down by the timing of the meal deliveries. We were a large group split into two tables of equal size, and we had two waitresses who worked closely together. Although we all placed our orders at roughly the same time, every meal at my table arrived at least twenty minutes after the meals at the other table. I had an amazing dining experience here with a large group! I ordered the gnocchi and swapped the sauce for vodka sauce. The portion was just right, and every bite was delicious. The tiramisu, which is my favorite dessert, tasted freshly made and met my high standards—definitely a winner! Although not shown in the pictures, the caprese is a must-try; it comes with the best balsamic I've had in years. Giving this place three stars only because their happy hour ends at 5pm. C'mon... really? Food is terrific and atmosphere is nice as is the cozy bar area, but don't bother hosting a happy hour if no one is even out of work yet.
Great bar, and everything I've eaten over the years has been spectacular. Friendly service and a great ambience when you walk in the door. And the Tenderloin Tips Lobster Stuffed Cod are off-the-hook delicious!

The menu seems to be the same as Carbone's Prime in Rocky Hill, which is fine with me. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was great. We went for a business lunch, everyone enjoyed it.
