We have reserved the day before to enjoy our anniversary dinner at Caretta. And although we arrived a little earlier, we immediately sat at a table facing the window and offered us an excellent view of the fabulous sunset over the beach. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and the specialties. And this restaurant asks if you have any food allergies to let them know and the kitchen can usually change the meal to accommodate them. At this point we had been in several restaurants with the same note on the menu, but only Caretta actually meant it. My husband and I went to Caretta last night to celebrate our honeymoon, and we were blown away! We started with the organic greens salad, which was delightful. The plating was so creative, and the light dressing was perfect. My husband had a watermelon mojito which was also delicious! They had a huge selection of wines as well. For our main course, we each got the 9 oz. Filet with mixed vegetables and fingerling potatoes. The filet was cooked perfectly to my liking and had so much flavor, even without the red wine sauce (which was also delicious). The potatoes were perfectly cooked with a slight crisp. Sister's birthday and Caretta 's is their favorite place to celebrate! We were a little early for our reservations, so we went to the bar for a drink. The server was so big that we gave up our table in the dining room to stay with it. As it turned out, Argela, our server, made this visit an outstanding experience and made it especially on her birthday!! Drinks and wine were really good!! Appetizers were fast and were quite delicious!! A Poke's bowl, the short band and the caprese! Amazing! Then dinner... The impossible Bolognese and a huge Cobb salad, sea bass over Spaghetti Squash and a huge Cheeseburger!!! Everything came out quickly, hot and delicious!!! We will be very soon!!!
I had a fantastic dining experience celebrating my mom's 65th birthday. The views were breathtaking, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was delicious. However, the highlight of the evening was our server, Predrag. His service was outstanding and exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant of this quality. His recommendations and the warm, welcoming vibe he provided made for some great laughs, and he truly went above and beyond our expectations, making the dinner unforgettable. The duck dishes were cooked to perfection. I opted for the grouper with risotto, while my fiancée was initially leaning towards the chicken duck. However, after some persuasion from Will, he decided to try the pork chop instead, and he was quite pleased with that choice. The bourbon cider glaze on the pork chop was outstanding. I highly recommend Caretta's for a lovely evening out. We enjoyed a beautiful view of the sunset over the beach and took advantage of the outdoor terrace to snap some photos. Oh, and don’t miss the gluten-free rolls; they were also delicious!
The interior of the resort was beautifully elegant and exuded a paradise vibe. I was looking for a great breakfast with an ocean view, and Caretta's truly delivered. I can't recall my waitress's name, but she was fantastic! Everyone in the restaurant was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the French toast based on my waitress's recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. I also had a delicious mango mimosa. Overall, the experience from arrival to departure was a solid five stars. I can't wait to return!
Devin was the perfect host. His enthusiasm when describing each menu item made me want to try everyone one. Awesome ocean views and the vibe is on point for a great time. Food was spot on delicious and the menu was creative and not overwhelming. The restaurant is beautiful and the live music was awesome. I will definitely be back.
Loved the diver scallops with bacon and mushrooms. I ordered it two days in a row, same with the caprese salad. The second day I had them keep the balsamic vinegar on the side. The food was fantastic! We tried her specialty, the Bone-In Wagyu Ribeye, and it was incredible. Laura did a wonderful job ensuring we had a great evening. We ended with a beautiful sunset to top it all off. Thank you!
