This restaurant in Virginia Beach is a hidden gem. One of my favorite dishes is the jerk beef fries (cooked well), but getting it in a bowl with rice is also satisfying. I always order my bowls with a side of plantains, which are always perfectly fried, sweet, and soft. Make sure to check their hours before going, as they do not have regular business days or hours.
This restaurant is only offering takeout orders! As a Caribbean restaurant, it was surprisingly lacking in seasoning and flavor. I ordered the jerk pork bowl, jerk cauliflower bowl, loaded fries, fried sweet plantains, and Caribbean crunchwrap. Overall, the dishes were lacking in taste, but there is potential for improvement.
Overall great experience! Chickpea stew was delicious! Was even better the next day. 4/5 Coco Bread was good 5/5 Not coco bread 1/5 Roti love that it’s stuffed 5/5 Pepper sauce was hot to me! My friend said it tasted like vinegar water not spicy.

The staff is always friendly, and my favorite dish is the loaded fries. The restaurant is quite small, with a maximum capacity of three people inside at a time, so it's best to order in advance.
Great place for takeout. Food is excellent and only a few blocks away from one of our favorite beaches to have dinner at!
