So I went here yesterday, after a long search for a Caribbean restaurant near my job. I got the j chicken, with coconut rice and plantains. A little disappointed there was no salad with it but maybe I'm just being greedy, (I'm use to this as a Jamaican Anywho the j chicken was very good, I was so skeptical, but it did not disappoint. The coconut rice well seasoned and was cooked well. The only thing I was sad about was, there was NO gravy!!!! I didn't get the option so I'm going to assume that's not a thing there? My experience was an AWESOME EXPERIENCE. When I first spoke with Mrs lilian wilson, I wasn’t were I needed to be with my credit. I was placed in a program by Mrs lilian to repair my credit. Follows up were made and work on my behalf was done. The process wasn’t easy but Mrs lilian made it easy and hassle free. I recently hosted a gathering at my home and had the event catered by Caribbean Delicacies with a last-minute order. The food was delicious, and all my guests were very pleased. While I would have liked to see a few more traditional Caribbean protein options, what they offered was excellent. The dishes were fresh and flavorful, ready right on time when I came to pick them up. The owner was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant itself was clean and hygienic, which was a relief. I would definitely order from them again.
My family and I are visiting from Illinois, and our daughter discovered this place online. What an incredible find! The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, just like homemade. We definitely plan to stop by again before we leave.

The food is delicious! I had the jerk sauce chickpeas served with black mushroom rice and lima beans. I think the dish also had some eggplant, but I can't quite remember. I do wish there were mushrooms in the rice, but that's just because I'm a big fan of mushrooms.
Food is fresh! Issue with method of payment. Staff says cash only due to not knowing how to work CC/debit so that's a slow up but maybe the kinks are worked out. Speed of service could improve BUT great food when you get it.
Food was fresh and delicious. I’m Puerto Rican and I’ve truly enjoyed the food. My brother recommended it and it did not disappoint. Ty for the kind service and delicious food. Caribbean Delicacies ????????????????
Everything is made fresh to order, so be sure to call ahead if you're short on time. The food is absolutely delicious. Forget about Chick-fil-A and choose this place instead!
