The restaurant was disappointing. They didn't have Aloo Pie, double, or pholourie available, and when I went to the counter, they were out of potatoes for the chicken roti. The roti was cold and thin, which made it seem like it had been sitting out for a while. I ordered the curry goat dinner, but there were no curry potatoes, so I opted for the plantains instead. Unfortunately, the plantains were hard from being left out too long. The curry goat tasted like it had been reheated too many times. On a positive note, the sorrel drink was good. Overall, this place felt like a letdown. If you're looking for an authentic Trini experience, you might want to try elsewhere.
Not sure why caribbean restaurants in the area are afraid to use salt. Caribbean Palace was the first place I had Trini food 5 years ago and was so disappointed. I decided to give them another try and the food was exactly the same. Tasteless. If you go to Trinidad, you?ll taste real Trini food. It has flavour and sauce that leave you wanting more. We have phrases in Tdad? the food lash so hard, it bruise! and make yuh lick d plate!! CP?s roti had no channa, very little potato and the smallest pieces of chicken. The doubles literally has no taste. I?d rather buy a ticket to tdad and get proper food than ever go there again.

But a few times over years you can expect them to once and a while forget about your order or just completely cancel your online order when you arrive to pick it up. You can just tell that they need better management. They don?t even pick up the phone anymore for the last 4 years.

I had a serious craving for doubles and this is the only place that came up around the area. Not in the best area since it?s very congested with traffic, but the food is authentic for sure. The doubles were super tasty and the side sauce of tamarind really added to it. I will definitely be coming back suggest anyone who wants to try trini food to come here and try it.

Wow, this place really went downhill. I've been buying from them for more than 15 years, but that's definitely my last. I bought 2 beef and 1 goat roti. They cry tasteless, dry and smell as if they were spoiled. The curry was brown in color!! These people have lost it, and the young ladies behind the circle were rude and discouraged.
The only Trinidadian spot I frequently visit, the food is usually good but I think different staff members prepare the food from day to day so the consistency is off but not usually a problem for me. The phone clearly isn't working. Both Uber and Grubhub displayed all the available menu items, but when I inquired about the issue, the cashier seemed indifferent. I've been a long-time customer, but unfortunately, I won't be returning.
