Going to the Norman hotel or the brekkie Creek hotel however unfortunately due to the bad weather it look like it was going to rain and there was only tables available outside I then suggested that for my father's 83rd birthday we go to the Carindale hotel. Being his 83rd birthday was a really special occasion and we noticed they had a sign saying free meal on your birthday. Unfortunately 7 o'clock the night before doesn't count as your birthday there were six of us dining and we spent way over $150 so you would think that they could bend the rules a little wouldn't you but no they couldn't they did however offer a free coffee and cake after I whinged and whinge to & whinged. We were sooooo disappointed with both the service and he food. Pulled pork pizza tasted awful, chicken chniztel was dry and nothing on the plate for the price you pay. Not very good value for money and the staff absolutely couldnt give a hoot we were even there. Their menu has this massive front page on it that says 'if we dont ask you for garlic bread you get one free' ...... get over it! Maybe have a sign that says bring your table number to the counter or your waitress will groan and sigh about you not knowing it then moan to the waitress next to her saying loudly so everyone can hear 'is it that difficult to know your table number?!' Carindale Hotel maybe spend more time in customer serv...
Had dinner here on a Friday night. Prices for food offerings were in the mid $20-$30 per mains. Overall, the meals were very average, the salmon want great. The salmon was a little dry, sauce wasn't well made and too sweet, presentation not great either. Pork loin was the better choice, but overall... Considering price, below average quality. No table service either, which for the cost of the meal, isn't acceptable for me. I guess it's stereotypical mall/bar fare but with restaurant prices.
Venue looked great, sandcrab lasagne was delicious but the rare Rump steak was so tough you could not chew it. Told waitress about the steak and was told that was the cut of meat and rump is sometimes tough. We asked if we could pick something else and we could and paid the difference. Also the duck spring rolls for entree were nice but menu said served with plum sauce but was sweet chilli instead. Def not worth the money until they can better quality meat.

Service from the bar and wait staff on Tuesday night, 9th May,2017 could not fault. Friendly, smiling a pleasure, but sadly the kitchen lets you down.Time and time again, give it another try.Not any more, will only go there for a drink, because thank god you can get a nice glass of bubbles and not bad wine.So its drinks only, until you improve food.
The foods not bad for the money. It's not table service which would be better. There are very few gluten free options on the menu so the choice of meals I can have is pretty limited and hardly any deserts are gluten free which is why I very rarely eat here, which is a shame as it's my local and I eat out a lot in the area with friends.
It was 8.30 before we ordered on a Wednesday night but I did make a reservation and we were made to feel like we were putting them out.We weren't the only late dinners as a couple of tables were still waiting for their meals when we got there. Food was very ordinary nothing exciting I'd go back for.
After eating there a couple of weeks ago and having the toughest steak I have had ever, and decided to private message them on the there FB page. just for there own benefit. seen but no response and that was a week ago. I was warned about this place, now confirmed sadly

Great spot to meet for drinks either to stay for a meal or enroute to somewhere else with the bus station 100 metres away.
The best steak I have eaten in years absolutely amazing add the friendly customer service made a great experience.
