We walked down the street and were halted by the smell of cheese, dough and spices coming from this place. We made a decision to try it for dinner and had no regrets. This is the kind of place where locals stop in to grab a slice of pizza throughout the night. This is the place where two Italian grandmothers will talk about how nice the delivery boy is when they see him walking back through the door. Friendly smiles and tasty pizzas (white pizzas too) will keep you coming back for more.
During my visit to PA, I took my family out for a quick dinner and we decided to try the pizza. I have to say, it was definitely better than what we have back home in PA, and the slices were a generous size. However, I couldn’t help but notice the price; where we live, a pizza usually costs between $12 and $14, but here it was nearly $19. I'm just not accustomed to paying that much for pizza. Overall, it was quite good, but I do remember New York pizza being even better.
This might just be the best traditional New York-style pizza on Long Island and beyond. The slices are thin and packed with flavor. The crust is crispy, the sauce is outstanding, and the cheese is just right. If I had to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 9.3 because I believe there's even better out there. It's definitely my favorite spot for a slice or a cake. Always delicious!
I grew up in Manhasset during the 90s, and there was plenty of excellent pizza available. However, I will always remember Carlo’s as having the best pizza in the entire area. Whenever I return to town, I make it a point to stop by for a slice or two. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Both the food and the people are consistently fantastic. My favorite is the plain, buffalo, white and grandma pizza. Easily the best pizza in town and if you're visiting or deciding where to go, do not skip this spot.
NYC style pizza right in Port Washington. I hardly ever just get a plain slice but when I go to Carla‘s I always have to get one. Great pizza great crust can’t go wrong.
Best pizza in the city by far! I've been here for over 20 years for pizza and the pizza is consistently the best and I'm not going anywhere else.
