Sadly this was NOT a good experience. We had a reservation for 8pm for our wedding anniversary. We were oddly greeted at the door and sat at our table at 8:16pm...fast forward 30-minutes and a waiter had yet to come to our table at all or even acknowledge our existence, it 's as if there was a wall separating us from everyone else, like we weren 't even there. I got up, went to the host, asked if our section had a different waiter, she said she would grab them, and I sat back down. Fast forward another 15-minutes (now 45-minutes since we sat down) and yet no waiter, he just kept walking in our proximity but never looked our way. We usually have a great time at this location, unfortunately, this time was different. The chef was amazing the ambiance was amazing but the waiter, Tom, not so much. Not sure if he is new, but his service was terrible. When we were done with dinner we them waited 20 minutes (in an empty restaurant) before he acknowledged us. We then had a problem with the check and the manager was called. I will tell you, Natalie more than made up for the bas service from Tom. Natalie was approachable, professional and understanding. My son has a shellfish allergy and I advised the waitress when she asked did anyone have an allergies. The cook proceeds to out table he was reading back the orders and not once did he mention the allergy. He proceeds to cook my shrimp for my rice along with the rest of the rice and when I asked if it was notated of the allergy he apologize and calls the waitress over and had her go to the chefs in the front to make my sons chicken fried rice. This is totally dangerous and unacceptable. I am highly disappointed with Benihana.
Appt was 3 pm. Was served 5pm. Was told by waitress that they did not put in our order. It was forgotten. Managers was very nonchalant ! Oh well! We're their attitude . No morse . Would not recommend at no time! One of my party member left. He could not take it plus he was diabetic so he could not be without food that long . No remorse shown at anytime! Ambiance and locale is excellent. World class view. Food a notch lower ie prices are higher with smaller portions. Also we did not get mushrooms in vegetables like we use to get. Chef was excellent. Waitress average. Love the 30 off for birthday. Will return for sure. The view and ambience is world class
The food was extremely cold the server didn't seem happy he was moving very slow as if he doesn't enjoy his job after I was finish and reaching inside for a tip before I could the server ask why didn't I add a tip it was extremely rude.
Service was truly awful. We made a reservation and then waited 45 mins to be seated. Then waited another 25 once seated before any service. The chef Jose was great but everything else was not worth the time, money or effort.

The staff was great, the food was great and plentiful. Our chef for the night was OJ and he was not only a great chef he was also engaging and a great enthusiastic entertainer to our family on our holiday.
