If I could give this restaurant more stars, I absolutely would! The chips are freshly fried, crispy, and just the right thickness. The salsa is incredible, and the guacamole is equally amazing—I devoured them before I even thought about taking pictures, so my apologies for that! I ordered the birria tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. The accompanying dipping soup? Let me just say... heavenly sigh! My mother had the bistek with chicken, and after trying it, I can honestly say it’s the most tender and juicy chicken I’ve ever tasted! I also got a side of rice and beans, which were both fantastic. Absolutely delicious. I ordered the barbacoa plate, and was not disappointed. I'm very particular about how food is cooked, and the meat I will admit was slightly overdone, but not in a way that would keep you from enjoying the thorough absorption of the well balanced infused flavors. Fresh ingredients meant further addition to the overall enjoyment of the plate. Refried beans were more liquid than my liking, but again the flavoring was spot on. Rice was tender and well seasoned. To top it off, we had a flan, which was incredible!!! Sugar syrup was caramelized perfectly, and the consistency was amazing. Definitely a great find!
We came here to celebrate my son's birthday as a recommendation from a friend for the most authentic Mexican food in town. Let me tell you it did not disappoint! Even though we arrived on a busy evening at probably the worst time, they seated us rather quickly and got us started with chips and pico. All our food was fantastic. The staff was friendly and efficient. Inside the restaurant was a bit loud for my taste, but I think next time we'll come at a slower time and request outdoor seating (which looked lovely).
After 10 minutes and no menu or drink order taken we gave up. The waitress had a full fist of menus after taking the order from the table next to us and took them inside instead of giving us a couple. The table on the other side got their food and pls ex s second drink order. But not even a hello to us from any of the waiters. I got fajitas. They were not cooked all the way and they were not served on the cast iron skillet. It would be better if it was served on a skillet type. My wife got the quesadillas and she said they were delicious. The waitress and the atmosphere were excellent though. And the salsa that you get at the beginning of your meal was most excellent.
The food at this restaurant is incredible. It's a unique take on Mexican cuisine, but everything is so fresh and flavorful. The chips and salsa are homemade and absolutely delicious. I tried the Sergio Burrito with chicken instead of the steak that it typically comes with, and it was fantastic. I highly recommend this place!
Several people in our group mentioned that the meat was overly salty and they generally did not enjoy the taste. Additionally, the rice was bland and lacked flavor.
