Carmens on the park was a fav for a good Italiano feed when she was located at The Tigers seems that her move to the Barnwell Park Golf Course was the best move for her as just when you thought it couldn't get any better it has. Carmen has stepped up her game to another level, introducing breakfast & lunches that caters for everyone:) Still keeping true to the Italian menu that made her famous, the introduction of a quick breakfast, sandwiches, cakes and pastries to cater for her clients is genius!I took dad for breakfast and was so excited to see how well Carmen has used the space. The restaurant is immaculate and looks a little fancy which I love with the water glistening across the road....
My partner & I recently met friends for a fabulous lunch at Carmen's on the Park, at their suggestion - they had dined there previously several times & assured us we'd like it...well they were right! The Restaurant ambience was quiet & very relaxing looking over the park. We tried some bruschetta and the beef burgers. Pretty expensive for what we got and the food was terrible. The meat patty was luke warm even though we were sitting next to the kitchen - i'm guessing it was frozen and then thrown in the microwave, burgers came with a massive serving of chips. The beer & wine was ok & fairly cheap! I won't be eating here again but I will be back over Summer for some barefoot bowls and some cold beer! Bring on the warm weather and fun with friends in the sun at this venue.
The food at Carmen's was amazing! I ordered the pork belly and just wanted more and more! It was well presented and had great flavour. Cooked really well! The place has friendly staff and wasn't crowded. But it did take some time for the food to arrive. The venue is a bit underwhelming in a bowls club, but it is nice to sit near the window and see green outside. Lots of parking and convenient location. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We went for a friend's fiftieth party, and it was fantastic. I guess there were 70 or so in attendance, and the evening went without a hitch. Those with special dietary needs were attended to very carefully, the food was tasty and in generous portions. Being in a club meant that drinks were modestly priced. I did feel sorry though for the couple in the corner who were not part of our group!
Visited here with a large group for a 70 th birthday and ate tapas style. Friendly staff and superb seafood that maintained its awesome freshness even though we ate and picked and revisited the platters over a few hours. View over the bay was a nice outlook and can't wait to visit with other friends soon. Their range and something for everyone from 2-80. Great job we will be back soon.
Lovely home cooked Italian food. Nice menu and friendly staff. Lots of natural light and overlooks Canada Bay. We booked lunch for my mothers birthday during the worst heatwave Sydney has seen and unfortunately for everyone dinning that day, the air conditioning had packed up. The owner couldn't apologise enough. Will definitely be giving this one another go, YUM!
Carmen's on the Park has now relocated to 551 Lyons Rd Five Dock, overlooking Canada Bay.We went with our family, food was authentic italian the way we cook. We had White Bait Fritters and Salt & Pepper Calamari to start which was really good and as a main we hadLinguine Scampi which is the best we have ever tasted. Family orientated place. Excellent food, great value for money, servings are more than enough. Service was acceptable considering there was also a wedding there while we had lunch. Casual atmosphere. Going back tonight for dinner. Thanks Carmen and staff !
