Went for an engagement party awhile back and had a great time. Food was great and bartenders are fast. My husband is obsessed with the Guinness on draft. Says it's the best one in the area. We've come twice more for lunch. I just get one of the salads, but the Irish chicken curry is the main star. Big menu but stick with the usual things. Food takes a bit to come out but it's worth it for us. Super quiet during the day time. We've gone in on a Sunday once around 12 and there was only one other person even in there. I've walked by this restaurant countless times since moving here, and I finally decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed! The wings were perfect and just what I hoped for. There was a great selection of beers on tap, and they even had live music, which added to the atmosphere (although my wife wasn't a big fan of it). Overall, the place had a lively vibe. The service was excellent; our hostess checked on us regularly to ensure everything was alright. I brought my 4-year-old along, and he had a great time and enjoyed his meal as well. It's definitely a family-friendly spot!
When we organized a lunch following a funeral, we weren’t provided with menu options—only a bill for guests who were unable to attend due to the circumstances. When we requested that the bill be adjusted, particularly the drink portion, the owner/manager declined our request. It was an experience we wish to forget, or at least one we hoped would be handled with more understanding. With so many other options nearby, I recommend looking elsewhere.
I visit this place every couple of weeks for some beers with friends and occasionally for dinner. The venue has a nice stage, but it could really benefit from some great live bands to keep us coming back, especially since there are other options in Amityville.
