These guys killed it!! Wife posting on husband account- I've been planning a surprise birthday party for my husband for the last month. I called around to a few different companies looking to see who would cater however a lot of them were busy due to graduations. I found another company in town that I had been talking with through text, mostly one-sided on my part, I even went so far as texting the guy what I wanted to order hoping that would light a fire but it didn't!! . I am a bbq lover and when choosing a bbq restaurant to try, I meet my decision on the basis of whether they have brisket and bonus points when they have homemade sweet tea. we ordered a plate of brisket, potato salad, mac and cheese, cornbread and parmesan wing. the wings were fleshy and well dimensioned, but felt too baked. that would probably not order a second time. the brisket was very good and “melt in your mouth”. the sweet tee tasted fresh and there is also an unsweet option. the potato salad was delicious, but the makkaroni could have been a bit more of a thicker consistency and less runny. the corn leaf was tasteless. Overall great place. Stumbled upon this restaurant from a locals recommendation. The wings were huge and well made. The Ribs were top notch with their own BBQ sauce. The sampler is a massive plate of food. If your in Reno or the surrounding area. Check this place out.
hired carolina bbq to offer our summer picnic and it was amazing! every bite of eating was excellent and shere’e and their crew are wonderful. we will use them for our events in future.
