Carousel Candies is located about midway on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant. There is air conditioning and it is nice to get out of the heat sometimes. Many of the candy stores along Jenkinson's boardwalk offer the same array of products for the same expensive price. Carousel's is one of my favorites. They do offer more of a selection for chocolate, candied apples, gummy candies, and pick your own boardwalk taffy. Yes it is expensive chocolate is $6+ for 1/4 lb. A chocolate covered s'more is $5 each (yes you read that correctly). But the staff is nice -no bathroom necessary.
