We have been coming to Carre Bleu for three years or so. It is a nice and convenient beach club with nearby parking. Even having been coming here a lot no staff member (who mostly have been here a while) ever recognise or greet you. I understand that. They must have millions of customers throughout the season. But this year the service has dropped to almost nonexistent. If you book a longer no staff member helps with the umbrella and you are left to try and ram it into the gravel yourself. Then, having battled with that mission and built up a decent thirst, you are left alone, ignored by every waiter whilst you are desperately in need of that cold beer. This is a very lovely restaurant. It is pretty, delicious food, and a very friendly and helpful staff! I had the scallops and Parmesan risotto, it was magnificent. I would give it more than stars if I could! After lunch, I went to their...private beach and I had impeccable service all afternoon. Their beach is staffed better than any of the others that I visited. Jesse, the best cabana boy, provided a comfortable day with cold water and assistance in and out of the water.
There is nothing wrong with the food at CB, it just isn't particularly inspired. The service is profesional, but in our case at least, highly impersonal. There is a slick feel to the whole establishment which makes us think that the only real reason for...its attraction, is the beautiful location by the sea. This is probably a much better place for late evening drinks with friends in one of the comfortable-looking sofas on the beach deck and not for a family dinner.
My husband and I spent my birthday here.The sunbeds are comfortable and the view is lovely. The pebbles make it hard to get into the sea gracefully (or that might just be me! The interior has clean toilet facilities and the restaurant is well furnished...has great sea views. Service in the restaurant was good. My fish was not cooked in the middle but they did change it and replace it with some that was. Overall, we had a relaxing, enjoyable day here.

The pizza the children had was good, my wife ordered mussels with salad but it came with fries instead. The real problem was my burger which came out raw and still cold in the middle. The waiter took it back and returned with another that...was cooked explaining the chef served the wrong one. Seems inexcusable as I had taken a bite before noticing and hope I don’t get ill. The cooked burger was not very nice for the price.

I ordered chicken milanaise with pasta ans ont was disgusting. Pasta where horrible ans the chicken was like the sole of a shoe. I'm notre exagerating. French fries ordered by my daughter were very good. My wife's salade was ok but notre exceptional. in...total without drink.

Called in for cocktails but the restaurant was so lovely, decided to stay for dinner. Food excellent, service brilliant, and cocktails fabulous.
Very nice beach restaurant with a good variety of dishes. Excellent location right on the beach! Nice ambiance and great staff!
