We had this delivered for a work meeting. I had the chance to look over the menu and if you are into super healthy food that taste good, this is your spot. From chicken, fish, to tofu they have a little something for everyone. Now, I'm not sure if it was because we used a delivery app or this is normal pricing but it was on the high end for pricing, but I think you're paying for fresh ingredients, not processed. I got a salmon wrap, which for the most part was pretty good, I will say though it was a little dry, there was supposed to be some aioli sauce in it but I honestly didn't taste it. Overall, if you're in to the healthy stuff, try it out, it's not really for me but it may be for you.
This is my second time dining at Carrot Express. I initially went there because I love their smoothies and wanted to try the food as well. During my first visit, I had the rice and laugh dish, which was nice but quite boring. This time, I ordered the sweet potato puree with tuna salad from their menu. I typically adore sweet potato puree, but this one had absolutely no flavor, and the potatoes seemed off. Additionally, the combination with the tuna salad was not appealing at all. I'm sorry, Carrot Express; I usually don't leave negative reviews, but I felt it was necessary to express my thoughts. On the bright side, I will still continue to order their smoothies!
I ordered the Liv wrap and, being a vegetarian, I requested falafel instead of the usual meat. The staff member didn’t mention anything about it being a problem. However, when I checked the receipt, I was shocked to see a charge of $17.95 for the vegetarian wrap. When I inquired about this, the employee simply said that they always charge more for vegetarian options. While this wasn’t my first visit to The Carrot Expression, it will definitely be my last. It’s baffling that a place would charge more for a substitution that should actually be less expensive. I would have rather given that money to my dog instead.
After having a good experience a while back at the Midtown location I decided to order from the Miami Shores location which is closer to my home. We ordered the Roasted Brussels Sprouts Kale Salad $23.45 and the Green Goddess Salad $21.45, See pictures For the price I felt the salads were very small and poorly presented. I dont ever do reviews on places, this is my first one. But I get the need to do this bc of how sub par this place was. The chicken platter was $20 and this is what I got… doesn’t match the description and the workers were not very welcoming as well. My advice would be to go to Miami squeeze (much better value and higher quality) or chipotle. Just not this place
First time ordering from here and spent way too much for nothing : the fries were soggy, the piña colada had no flavor or sugar; the vegan bowl was not tasty at all. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I liked the avocado and plantain. Other than that I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again. My stomach started to ache after eating this as well.
I used to order from here regularly because the food is simple, fresh, and delicious. However, the prices have skyrocketed to the point where I can no longer justify ordering from this place. I honestly don't understand how a falafel wrap and two tuna salad packages can cost over $50!

I eat at Carrot express several times a week. Today I have ordered a poke bowl. Very disappointing. Rice was old and super hard, 3 pieces of salmon and a massive hair. Bye bye CE Miami shores
