I'm pleased to see that adults are managing this store. The owner was very helpful in answering all my questions. After my experience at Dairy Queen in Allendale, NJ, where it was supposed to open at noon but remained closed despite my arrival between 12 and 12:30, I was delighted to find Carvel. They made a fantastic ice cream cake exactly as I requested. The price was reasonable, and I now have a go-to spot for any occasion. Thank you, Carvel!
He handles the ice cream cones with his bare dirty hands! This is very unsanitary and against health regulations. He should have wrappers already around the ice cream cones like Dairy Queen has. This is the proper way to handle food. Also the establishment is not that clean :
The ice cream is excellent, but please note that a minimum purchase of $4 is required for credit card transactions. The counter service is friendly and welcoming.

terrible. I ordered icecream a cone of vanilla icecream and then we found a long black HAIR in my icecream. Disgusting!
It's really hard to screw this up. They do a great job. Plenty of parking. Recommend the plain vanilla cone.
I really wish they would offer Carvelite! It's so much better than regular soft serve.
