Carvel is another shop that doesn't change that much for location to location. The factors that make these different are their size and team members. We have been coming to this shop here for a few years now They always have a good team here that greets you with a smile, ready to let you sample any flavor and eager to serve. There is a small spot if you dine in. Clearly this place is for take out... In the Summer many people just stand around the parking lot eat their ice cream and speak with their friends and family, If you're local to the Westbury area and get an urge for Carvel, i definitely recommend that you check out this location. I guess I have to give 1 star at least to write this review. Awful place and terrible customer service. You would think if you go there often in the summer they would at least be nice to you. Apparently I ordered my ice cream for my kids and he told me that the guy that hasn’t walked thru the door is next even though he hadn’t open the door yet or was even in the same building and told me he couldn’t take my order. So I told him thanks I’m not ordering anymore. Really rude to adults and kids. Looking through the reviews everyone says the same thing. So why do we continue to buy from this awful carvel place. Extremely disrespectful staff. The workers were super unprofessional rude to me. When I would ask for stuff she would keep ignoring me. The two female employees had extreme attitude at me my friends and kept rolling there eyes at me. If you cant handle your customers and don’t like working here then please don’t. Ruining peoples days for no reason when all I’m trying to do is get a treat. No one is spending money for bad attitude. Will not be getting my ice cream here will be going ACROSS THE STREET to ralphs.
I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, even making the trip from Muttontown. The cakes are always beautifully decorated and fresh. They also offer specials on flying saucers, with a buy 2 get 1 free deal. The staff is consistently helpful and courteous. Some may find the prices a bit high, but in comparison to other Carvel locations, the quality of ice cream here is superior.

This is one of the dirtiest carvel chains I’ve seen. Broken down machines, dirty floors and counters were a disaster. The staff was very inattentive and seemed to be more amused with their visiting friends than take care of customers. Milkshake for my wife was basically just milk.
This CARVEL has the best Ice cream on Long Island for Carvels. They don’t put milk or water in the franchise mix like a lot of others do. Actually every other one in this neighborhood messes with the mix ratio. Go try them and tell me I’m wrong. The girls are great also.
Such an unpleasant local establishment! Never greeted with a warm, hello or appreciative. Thank you for giving them business. To top it off, the way draws on your cake like a four-year-old.
Carvel is a popular favorite, with a dedicated following of fans. I always make sure to visit at least once a year, and there is always a long line because it is so popular.
