Don't trust this restaurant. I placed a $40 order on GrubHub and only received a single scoop of ice cream. There were no emails, texts, or calls to inform me about the issue. When I contacted Carvel, the employee claimed they had updated the app to reflect that certain items were out of stock and that I wouldn’t be charged for them. That was a lie! I was still charged the full $40, plus a $6.99 delivery fee for just one scoop of ice cream! If you can’t fulfill at least two-thirds of a large order, you shouldn’t accept it. You've wasted my time and money.
During our visit to friends in Briarcliff Manor, we stopped by Carvel at 1874 Pleasantville Rd. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The cashier displayed unacceptable behavior, lacking both courtesy and professionalism. I cannot recommend this location to anyone. The employee named Livia, as noted on the receipt, was particularly rude and unhelpful. Our experience was quite unpleasant. In contrast, we frequently visit the Carvel in Cortlandt Manor, where the staff and management are always friendly and welcoming, with no issues at all.
This Carvel location is walking distance from where I live. On a few occasions, the listing says closing is at 10, and they were cleaned up and closed before that. Because we decided to get ice cream tonight, my husband got there 20 minutes before closing, and the ?closed? sign was already up, and the young person in the store, had cleaned up. As I entered the store, the old man greeted us with a paper towel in his hand. I reluctantly ordered ice cream. My daughter ordered a milkshake, the milk spilled over on cup and disgustingly he used to same paper towel he was seen wiping his hands earlier to wipe off the cup. Very nasty and unsanitary. This place truly sucks I asked for a sundae dasher but not once twice they gave me the wrong thing and already made it I spoke up and apparently she could not hear me pleseant ville carvel is 10x better go to the pleaseant ville one not this one!
The costumer service was bad the lady was unfriendly and rude to take orders beside that the ice cream was good but I would prefer to drive a little longer to go to another location or check out new ice cream places
