The exceptional reviews here are legit. A true hidden gem and a rewarding way to end a downhill hike from Palacio da Pena and Castelo dos Mouros. Easy to find if you hike through the Villa Sassetti trail (it is your first immediate right as soon as you exit the trail metal grate door. Fantastic owners, very reasonably priced desserts and drinks, and the VIEWS speak for themselves. Definitely keeping this on my return list to Sintra. Port wine, coffees, and crepes were all reasonably priced and stayed almost an hour just relaxing after a long hike down.

Beautiful setting and great food. Myself and all my friends loved the food. Our waiter was delightful and helpful when choosing food and wine. I left my card there at the restaurant and got a response immediately from owner that my card was there. They are mailing it over as I left Lisbon the next day. A great experience and I would highly recommended.

Um lugar encantador, tranquilo e fora do caminho. Fomos lá almoçar o serviço foi adorável e conseguimos uma mesa no terraço, que nos dava vista para as montanhas e para o jardim. A comida era boa, nada de especial, mas vale a pena apenas pelo lugar. O vinho da casa é barato e bom. Definitivamente recomendo se você estiver na área!

A lovely place, quiet and out of the way. We went there for lunch the service was lovely and we got a table on the terrace, which gave us view of the mountains and the garden. The food was good, nothing special but worth it for the place alone. The house wine is cheap and good. Definitely recommend it if you're in the area! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Off the beaten path and quiet. Great views with outdoor seating. Service was not great. Were helped quick but no follow up. Cash only but had no change to give back. Food was very good though. Chorizo was served on top of a table grill from pottery. Had to cook it yourself Very fun and tasty.

Embora raramente saia, numa viagem a Sintra a minha filha escolheu este restaurante. Comemos muito bem, nos trataram muito bem e ficamos muito confortáveis. Temos uma boa memória.

We came here after visiting the Palácio da Pena. The sea bream was wonderful and the view was very charming.
