My boyfriend and I stumbled across this place after arriving at our hotel and looking for somewhere to eat. We went here for lunch and for a couple of tapas for dinner. Only after dinner did I decide to look it up on TA and I cannot believe how low down it appears. Suffice to say, it is one of my favourite tapas bars, ever! (and trust me, I've visited a few . We started off with a caña (small beer each, served in an ice cold glass. They were so incredibly busy but for our subsequent beers they still managed to find us frozen glasses no matter the shape or size! Each drink was accompanied by a tapa, typical of the region of course, and they were all delicious. The tapas they chose even paired...
We only decided to go here for lunch because it was near our hotel and showing the Formula 1 on TV. We enjoyed it so much that we returned later in the evening. Beer was served in ice cold glasses, the free tapas were varied and tasty, and the service was extremely friendly. I asked for recommendations of local wine and was very happy with their choice! The bar was full of locals, and although we didn't eat in the restaurant section, that also appeared busy. I have been to many traditional tapas bar/restaurants in Spain over the years, and believe me, this place takes some beating.
If it wasn't due to the fact I was staying in the Europa hotel opposite I would never have found this great restaurant. I ate here for most of my 5 night stay. You can sit in or out. The menu (also in English) was varied and the quality of the food very good. Typical of the region, with every drink comes tasty tapas. There's also a menu of the day which is very good value. The staff were helpful efficient and friendly. My favourite restaurant during my 3 week stay in Jaen
Fuímos a comer allí, ya que nos habían hablado muy bien del sitio y así fué. Patricia es todo un encanto , gracias por tu rapidez sirviendo y tú simpatía. Lo recomiendo 100%. La carne está deliciosa y el precio es muy acorde a la calidad . Tiene tanto interior como o exterior para comer. Gracias

Primer día de feria y aún estando a tope, hemos recibido un servicio espectacular. Muy atentos y pendientes de cada detalle, la comida buenísima y ambiente tranquilo y familiar. Repetiremos pronto!!!
