Dica inicial: não é necessário pedir entradas tendo em conta o tamanho do couvert, que pode incluir cenoura, manteiga e azeitonas, chouriço grelhado, patê de salmão e tostas, tábua de queijo e tábua de enchidos, para além do pão normal e pão de alho, servidos quentes, um ponto alto a referir. Tudo era bom. Como não sabíamos que vinha tanta comida, pedimos entradas: amêijoas e lulas fritas, ambas muito boas. Pratos principais: linguado e bifes à portuguesa (bons mas sem o típico molho). Sem sobremesas e sem vinho, euros por cabeça. The food was delicious and the service was so professional. We sat outside which was a really nice setting surrounded by tall trees and pretty flowers. The choice and value of the menu was very good. We had some cured ham and warm bread, followed by sardines for the starters. My partner had black pork for his main which was really tender. I had the monkfish kebab which was delicious and came with prawns and veg on the kebab too. We were too full for desert but the menu looked like it had a lot of choice. The wine was also really nice and I thought very reasonably priced. The staff were so friendly and attentive, we felt really well looked after.

This is an exceptional restaurant for food wine and at prices that are well away (below) the “fancy” Western European styled other restaurants in the area. Superb for fish and the amazingly well priced wine list. Should be in the Michelin guide for good food at a reasonable price- if there was such a rating ! Not to be missed for a good night out in a superb “eating place”.

We had fantastic meals here during our stay, we enjoyed our first evening so much we came back for the final night of our holiday. The fish dishes steaks were delicious and the little touches like the way the children’s dinners were plated and the after dinner treats were really lovely. Great staff and nice setting. What a fantastic sea food restaurant, from the warm welcome at the door to the table service the staff were great . Then came the fresh sea food sardines to start and sole as a main were so fresh and tasty. Great wine list can’t wait to go again. Definitely one to recommend

Our first choice restaurant every time . The very best couvert in the Almancil area . The attention to detail carries on throughout the whole meal.very courteous staff excellent value for money.

Lovely restaurant with good, varied menu. Options to dine inside or on terrace with friendly staff. Lots of choices for couvert and then large menu on board. Daily specials too.
