Without a doubt, this is the best food in Lake Oswego, and likely the finest Costa Rican cuisine in Oregon! They serve delicious Costa Rican classics like casado, gallo pinto, and the perfect plantains, along with some of the best roasted and smoked chicken you'll find. Whether you're in the mood for burritos, tacos, or breakfast, everything is consistently excellent, generously portioned, and made with care.
It’s not very often you eat at an establishment for lunch and want to get it again for dinner. That was us on Saturday. The aromatic and flavorful food was unlike anything we’d eaten in a very long time. You’d close your eyes and could believe you were eating in Costa Rica. The service was outstanding and truly could taste the love put into the cuisine.
I have been looking for this place for years. These guys got their original location torn down some time ago, and they relocated in the same city. My first experience here was amazing. They have all your typical costa rican dishes and more. Not easy to find a costa rican place around, and they check all my boxes. Thanks guys! ¡Pura Vida!
The food here isn't as authentic as what you'd find in Costa Rica. While there are some traditional dishes, burritos are not a common meal in Costa Rican cuisine, and ceviche certainly shouldn't be made with tilapia—it's really unappealing that way. This humble establishment feels more like visiting family than going to a restaurant. The food is remarkable do not miss the smoked chicken. Highly recommended!
