We reserved but when turned up weren’t allowed the reserved table outside, so sat inside which I wouldn’t have chosen. We’ve been before, the first time 7 years ago when we were wowed by the food and whole experience. This time, not so much. Two...servers, one brusque, the other warm and sympathetic. We explained my husband is coeliac, so no gluten, and chose 5 dishes we were assured had no gluten. When the chicken wings arrived we told they had just a little flour in them. Sent them back. Offered ducks hearts instead as they were gf. These arrived on a bed of couscous and were sent back. Finally hearts arrived just in sauce unfortunately by now we had no faith in the chef and my husband did...
In the back streets of Collioure this tiny tapas bar is a delight. There is no wine list you tell the waitress what you like and she will bring you something to taste. It’s sold by the glass. We asked for a dry rose and...that’s what we got ! Food was delicious some you will find in any tapas bar some not. All the dishes we had were delicious but the stand out dish was a beetroot gazpacho with feta and mint. Not a soup as I expected but a delicious silky spread to eat with bread or with a spoon. I asked if the chef would give me the recipe and the waitress said he wouldn’t but she would! I can’t wait to try it ! This is definitely one to try when in Collioure but get there early as it fills...
we have visited collioure for many years. our first visit in the casa gala was 2013. we always have at least one meal here. the owner surprised us this time by his “Flamenco style”. he was obviously at l’ecole de la...danse! it pays dividends as he looked much slimmer when he was last year. it has not distracted from the food as it was fantastic as always. we ask ourselves what next years will be added character? juggling?!
Stumbled into this place while searching for any vegetarian food options in the seaside town. Made it just before it became incredibly packed for a party. Very cute, great music, nice paintings. The chef was very nice and helpful, speaks good English and helped us...navigate the menu, giving suggestions for what we would like. Very tasty dishes in just the right quantities. English-speaking with decent vegetarian options.

Lunch today, found in the backstreets of beautiful Collioure. The patron/chef is a great host who also has excellent taste in music and an extensive playlist. I would love to be a fly on the kitchen wall for a couple of days. An expansive local...wine list, for vente direct but do try his recommendation of a Black beer or two. Highly recommended.
Great tapas, a larger than life owner and a completely efficient and delightful waitress. The Iberian plate is a little on the pricey side for what you get but the chick pea, aubergine and pan tomato dishes are all excellent and good value for money....Thoroughly recommend this little place away from the crowds at the beach.
visited in our first night (saturday) after most other places were booked. we had such a nice time with the owner who had some great music and had a little dance. the tapas were beautiful and service and price super. definitely worth seeing when in collioure.
Popped into this excellent small wine bar after a late flight on a Saturday night off season. The place has a good buzz and the people were very welcoming. We enjoyed some tapas and local wine.

simply super! great eating, cheerful atmosphere and amazing hostess! try the house from white sangria! go definitiw when they have the chance. make sure to reserve a seat in front of the door!
