I have a gluten intolerance and needed to use the QR code to access the menu there was no service on my phone or on anyone else’s phone on the table. My son asked for the WiFi code which didn’t work one of the waiters rudely said to him use your own Data. Still I can’t access the menu another waiter was v nice gave me his phone to use but now all I was faced with was a list of allergens where it seems almost everything on the menu contains gluten. No indication of what was available to me until I had to ask another waiter what I could actually eat… It was unnecessarily complicated. A simple GF menu with what I could eat ie you had GF pasta Pizza bases… just a thought as you were so busy I ke...
We were meeting in Liverpool for a family weekend and booked here for Friday night. Traffic delayed 2 of our party but it wasn’t a big issue. Once we ordered food it arrived in good time and everything was delicious. 2 couples each shared a pizza and pasta and they split the pizza onto 2 plates. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought the birthday boy a delicious dessert with a candle in without us asking. It was busy but we were upstairs where I definitely didn’t feel crowded. Would definitely recommend and we would certainly return if we were in the city again.
I got the pesto pasta here, and it was fine, but I don't get the hype around this place. The pesto wasn't that flavourful. I've had better from store bought jars. I went with non vegan family who got a margherita pizza, which they rated 7/10. Definitely be prepared to wait in a queue outside if you want to come here. We went for lunch in the middle of the week and had about a 15 minute wait, so it wasn't too bad. It's a fine place but I'm not sure the queueing outside was justified because the food didn't wow me.
I had the vegan chorizo pizza and it tasted amazing. Very cheesy and the vegan chorizo was delicious as was the salad on the pizza. I had the vegan crumble to follow and it tasted lovely too. Before turning vegan I was vegetarian for years and frequently went to Casa Italia, always getting the garlic bread and vegetarian lasagne and every time was impressed by the high quality of the food and generous portions for the price. We have been to Casa Italia many times, we find the food very good value for money, the staff are always friendly and happy to help should you need it, our party where all able bodied apart from my daughter, who is in a wheelchair at present, she struggled to walk up the steps to get into the restaurant, then the toilets were upstairs as well, but she does enjoy this restaurant.
I have been coming here since it opened. We were a large party . The food as always was excellent especially the children's much healthier than the usual chicken nuggets and chips. Our waiter was fantastic he was serving two large parties but nothing was too much trouble for him We will be back
Amazing starter and could tell it was homemade. Opted for pizza main base looked and tasted like cardboard. Wish they had the super cheesy pasta mains veganised like the do for the Omis
Food excellent, service very good , got served very quickly even with a party of ten and all enjoyed will definitely return
