Avoid this place at all costs! We had a pizza (frozen) chips, a baguette and three soft drinks...€30! Total rip off! The chips alone were €4! The first problem was after placing the order, the chips came out on their own and we asked was the rest of the food coming and they said ‘later’ So bemused we asked for all the food to come together and they took the chips away (very small portion) then about 10 minutes later the chips reappeared (cold, most likely the same ones) and a rather dry looking chicken and bacon baguette, no salad on the the side or inside...not even buttered! Then dispute us already asking once for the food to come together we were still waiting for the pizzas for a few min...
Chose Casa Marcos to settle down for my day trip to Las Fuentes del Algar and I couldn’t have chosen better. Great place to have a drink on arrival and a swim to cool down yourself. These guys they’ve got a huge swimming pool with a trampoline where kids enjoy themselves. Parked in their car parking which it’s just in front of the water falls and had THE BEST PAELLA I ever had facing the Níspero farms they grow in The Valley. They suggested us to try their Níspero Gazpacho and their own recipe octopus and sprouts paella. Honestly, this paella is something out of this world. Visited this restaurant after a lovely trip to Algar waterfalls. Had a pizza chips and bacon and chicken baguette. Service was quick enough but have to say the quality of the food was awful, Baguette was dry, no salad and no spread on it either. Frozen pizza, low end budget. Chips! Frankly you could have fitted more on a contact lens. Three tangoes cost us 3€ each. When the bill arrived we were shocked to see it was €29.00 The tiny portion of chips were €4.00 very shocked at the prices at this restaurant. Would find somewhere else to eat next time
We waited forever for our drinks . When they came the waitress had her fingers on the lip of the glass where you drink from. Our food came with no knives and forks . We got no condiments. We were never asked how our food was. The food was very bland. The bill came and they added 10 Euros as a tip. I bet if the manger read this review he wouldn’t make any changes . They just have too much business . If the manager thinks that bad service is worthy of a tip then he is wrong
Went here with my family and to be honest all our food was awful, however mine was really poor, a chicken and bacon baguette that was the so dry, no salad, no mayo....not even butter. It was a rip off in terms of costs and the service was bad, everything came out at different times and a lot of the food was cold. Never again and dont recomend!
We stopped for food after parking in the car park for the waterfalls. The food was nice, value for money, especially with the pool for the kids. The service was fantastic. Lovely waiter who took the time to assist us and even organised food off menu for our super fussy 6 yr old.
Both got chicken and potatoes. We got some sort of battered chicken and some fries, if we weren't so hungry they would have got it back. Do not go near this place. €20 for x2 of this rubbish
Perfect combination of good and pool. A lovely place with lovely staff. Perfect for when you’ve had enough of the waterfall nearby as it is moderately quiet.
Lo habia descartado por las malas opiniones de tripadvisor. Llegamos a falta de buenos y zasca. Tengo q decir q todo muy, pero q muy correcto.
