I really wanted to like this place and give them grace. With a wife working in the restaurant business during the pandemic I get the challenges associated with being short staffed. We were in the area on a date with my wife and had a few hours to spend together with no kids. We saw this cute place next to the metra train station and thought it would be great. The place large, had an outdoor dining area and overall looked good. Unfortunately that was not the case with the chips and salsa or drinks. We had planned to eat and drink here but after the chips and salsa arrived we had a feeling based on the bland chips and not so flavorful salsa that this was not the place for us. This is one of our favorite dining spots! The food is amazing—definitely our top choice for Mexican cuisine. The margaritas are fantastic, too. The restaurant is never overcrowded, which is a big plus. My husband and I have visited with our kids as well as just the two of us, and everyone enjoys it every time. The atmosphere is fun and festive, and the bar area is great with plenty of TVs. It’s always very clean, which we appreciate. We absolutely love this place and have been coming here for over seven years. We believe it deserves more recognition. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. I want to like CM-Hinsdale, but it's soooo overpriced for very just bland food. First of all, the guacamole is watery and the weak ass chips served with it somehow manage to break in it. For the exorbitant price of guacamole, get me some fortified tortilla chips. The Baja Fish tacos were tiny and unremarkable. The service is fine and friendly. I particularly like all the televisions, but do we have to blast reggae-ton throughout the place especially when the place is barely occupied?
First of all, this is a Tex-Mex restaurant, so I'll be rating it with that in mind. The service was excellent, and the food was great (keeping in mind it's Tex-Mex). I had the Dad's Margarita with Maestro, which was a solid 5/5. The chips and guacamole were also fantastic. One suggestion I have is to change up the music; it would be much better if they played only reggaeton, salsa, merengue, bachata, and regional Mexican music. Just a little advice from a Mexican girl! ;P
love the service from this location. The worker Antonio is so very kind and the food was excellent. I will definitely be coming back to this great establishment. The atmosphere here is great and so fun to be in I just never want to leave. the chips and salsa are to DYE FOR. Ugh the best chips ever. Will be coming back for more.
Spare of the moment coming here but it was good. Everything was good. Only downfall with these restaurants doing outdoor seating is when it gets cold at night it's hard to enjoy your food or drink lol. This restaurant is right by the Metra train station. Our server was really nice.

So bad! The place looked dirty. How can there be multiple locations of this terrible food. Way too many good Mexican restaurants around to eat this.
