Absolutely terrible customer service! I have never, in my entire life, left a poor review for any business, but I cannot let this go. Management did nothing but blame others and still owes me money for food I did not receive in my takeout order. After two weeks of trying to get a refund on the appetizers not put in my order, I decided to leave this review. It was a poor experience from the very beginning. On 9/16, I ordered a takeout order online via the Casa Vieja website. I ordered at 5:46 and was given a 15?25-minute wait time. A friend of mine arrived at Casa Vieja at 6:15 to pickup the food. She checked in on the food multiple times and was told it would be ready soon. Finally, after 25...
My husband and I have always enjoyed going to this restaurant. We went last night. After waiting 5 min. To be seated we waited 25 min.for our drinks. My quesadia was so dry, alot of chicken but so dry I couldn 't eat it. Then after we asked for a 'to go ' box we waited ten min., even asked a waiter passing by to get our waiter for our check. After 10 in. We got up and went to the counterfor our check. A couple even walked out while we were waiting there at the counter. Most of the activity was on the outside tables. Maybe not have as many outside tables and have a waiter for the inside only. I know everyone is short staffed but as I said cut back on outside tables maybe?
Possibly the best Mexican restaurant I've ever visited. The nacho chips were crisp and fresh. They came with 2 salsas. One was the traditional tomato based salsa, but the second was a sweet salad dressing type of dip. My Churrasco was cooked correctly, with tasty cheese, onions and rice. Even the beans were tasty. Great that it was done for a reasonable price. Any restaurant would do well to emulate Casa Vieja.
I had the tres enchiladas there and it was absolutely delicious. I'm not a drinker but I did have a non-alcoholic pina colada and it was tasty. And my sister and her roommate had Margaritas there and they were delicious well I think the word they use was holy cow that strong. So they don't really cut down their liquor in their drinks and the service was quite excellent!
