I went to the restaurant last night with three other people for music and dinner in the lounge. I was surprised to see that the tables were all lined up very close to each other, making it difficult to move around. Despite this, I understood that they needed to fill seats. I ordered the filet mignon, which was supposed to be a high-end 21-day in-house aged beef offering. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. Yes I was there for a very sad upsetting and disappointed reason of a young wonderful man taken from us too early, but his heartbroken mother used this spread of food (called the funeral arrangement) to serve loved ones at his repast. I was so impressed with the food arrangement that I complimented her choices which she then told me what it 's called; we laughed. I told her that I don 't care what they called it but that it had just become my wedding reception arrangement ! We laughed again hugging. My husband and I visited Casa Mia at the Hawthorne to mark our 10th anniversary. We were seated at a romantic private table with candles. The prime rib dinner and seafood pasta were both cooked perfectly, and the desserts were delicious! The portion sizes were generous, so we had leftovers to take home. Our waitress Stephanie was attentive, friendly, and really enhanced our dining experience. She also makes amazing margaritas! I highly recommend Casa Mia at the Hawthorne, and if you want the best experience, be sure to ask for Stephanie!
Food is expensive but you get huge portions. I got pasta twice. The second time we went it wasn't great. The service was terrible. Waited so long for drinks. There was an event going on and they were short staffed so I'm sure it's better than that normally. The bands that play there are amazing. Always great songs to dance 2. Me and my wife went on valentine's night the food was amazing the service was on par considering how packed it was. My wife and I both had steak and lobster with appetizers and dessert. The price was verey reasonable considering the 5 star treatment with the food and service. I definitely recommend Casa Mia at the Hawthorne for date night or all ur wedding party needs.
This is an excellent place to host a party. I recently attended a graduation celebration here. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. However, the decor of the restaurant could use some improvement. The furniture and paint color appear outdated and could use a renovation. Overall, a nice place for a party, but could use a refresh in terms of decor.
What a nice place! The food was really good. They have specials on Fridays. Had a filet mignon. My kids shared spaghetti carbonara. My husband had the tomahawk. Good wine variety. Pleasant service. I enjoyed my visit. I am updating after a second visit. Food was less consistent. Nothing outstanding. It was good but overpriced.
This is an amazing restaurant! Wat a fabulous find!! My friend and I came here for lunch and I had the French onion soup followed by sole abd veggies. My friend had pasta al mare which is loaded with seafood and extraordinary!! The bread that was served was warm and crusty with a bowl of olives, cheese. Tried it for my our first time last Saturday night. They obviously have an excellent kitchen staff with some great chefs. Food was excellent as was portion sizes. Worth the money. Obviously a well run establishment. I will definitely be returning.
