Although this is one of the very few places where you can still find freshly caught fish from the sea in the Algarve, the great quality of the food does not make up for the poor customer experience. Even though we had a reservation, the restaurant was still not open when we got there (on time). There were a lot of customers who also had reservations still waiting outside. Once the doors were finally opened, everyone tried to go in at once which made for a messy experience. We tried to request a different table to the one we were assigned and were rudely informed by the waiter that we had no option but to sit at our assigned table. Four of us booked a table to celebrate my birthday. We were made very welcome and quickly had our water, bread, drinks etc ordered and a small complimentary started was served. We each chose different main course and they arrived quite quickly All dishes were well presented and tasted great. Portions were good, so much that none of us wanted a sweet. We surprisingly each received a complimentary small sweet which was out of this world. Overall another great night at this restaurant and very reasonable prices. Unfortunately we understand they are closing now for the summer but will reopen again in September when we will certainly be back.
I was there with my husband and mother-in-law. We had Espetada de tamboril e camarão and Polvo à lagareiro . We had Amêijoas for starter. Delicious food, good service, wonderful view. I will be back!

Not fancy but food was delicious and price was very reasonable. 4 adults and 2 three year olds. Cod a Lagareiro and Octopus a Lagareiro and omelettes for the children.
Buffet com bastante variedade, relação preço-qualidade ótima, ambiente tranquilo e staff sempre atento/disponível.
