it is directly at the harbour front, so there is a quite cool view of the boats coming. service was in order, but when we visited, there were few customers. the best part was the selection of food. there were pages and pages of the options. The...pizza I decided to be great. (cannot remember which one. Sorry), my wife was a little disappointed with her, as it had a fresh tomato base instead of a pizza sauce (candidate also the names, but it was clear on the menu as such, so no complaining.) she ate all her pizza, so it was good ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. the pizza quality was great with a beautiful oil. the pizza sauce (on my) was obviously made home. just another point that is important for s...
mid november, kovid still reigned, terrible weather, we arrived early for the local, so restaurant empty, but ordered after us, many came. raged calf with sage and ham. my partner pork with corsala sauce and a fresh thunfish and cheese salad to start. we were just driving a glass of red wine, not so great, but we were restless. service charming, attentive, as we speak French and English. toilets immaculate, always a wore masks. good value for location.
we haven't visited more than thought for a few years, we've been trying other pizzerias in the city. so glad that we returned to casanowa, as eating is still nice with a grwat wine menu. the restaurant is obviously well thought of locally as the people are waiting for. tables to be released. the servier staff was super efficient and seemed almost on a mission while the type that makes the pizzas makes a great job. the best to book.
Fireworks in Mahon. Food required. Unfortunately a wait of over 1 hour for a starter platter of cold meats was not the fireworks we required! Ordered pizzas etc along with a sharing platter over 1 hour wait then the mains arrived with our starter!?!? I...think we had been forgotten about! Food reasonably good but such poor service.
