I stopped by for lunch today and approached with some skepticism after seeing the exterior of the building. However, the positive Yelp reviews convinced us to give it a try, and as usual, I wasn't disappointed. The service at Cast Crew was excellent—very friendly, attentive, and mindful of COVID safety protocols. I ordered the Southwest BBQ Chicken salad with caramelized onions, which was delicious and large enough for two meals. My husband had a classic burger that he enjoyed as well. The restaurant adheres to all CDC guidelines for COVID, which made our first dine-in experience in four months feel safe. I'm really disappointed. We had heard wonderful things about this restaurant, but when we arrived at 6 PM, they refused to seat us or even add us to a waitlist. There was no line and no other parties waiting, yet the staff seemed uninterested in accommodating more customers. I feel sorry for the owner if they are unaware that their staff is driving away potential business. It's such a shame.
We visited this restaurant for dinner one evening just before closing, and the staff were more than willing to accommodate us. We ordered the BLT and a burger for our main courses. Wow! I wasn't very hungry, but I stopped by around lunchtime to give this restaurant a try, and I'm so glad I did! We went with the chef's choice for the appetizer, salad, and dessert. An improvisational restaurant? Trusting the chef to whip up a burger I’d enjoy? Why not?! I’m so glad we took that chance! Our family of four decided to stop here on our way through town, and we were absolutely delighted with everything we ordered and ate!
It may not seem like much from the outside, but the staff here is incredibly friendly, and the food is simply outstanding! We definitely left feeling full and satisfied!
