We experienced some delays with our food and the overall dining experience, but one of the bartenders truly made a difference. I can't remember her name, but her outstanding service really improved our time at the restaurant. She was the only one who went above and beyond to make sure we got our meals quickly.
Had a lovely meal here today . Outstanding service from the staff who went out of their way to help us as the restaurant was fully booked and they made room especially for us. I was with 2 elderly ladies who said they had been spoilt rotten by the staff !! Definitely recommend this hotel. Thankyou for today .
I had the katsu curry vegetables and it was very good. The rice and vegetables were cooked well which is good for a pub. All the other meals looked good. The drinks were good and staff friendly. The prices were ok. There is a pool table and a nice level of background music.
When we were here last Friday, they had no ice for drinks and we were disappointed when they started closing up at 10.30. There was another group in who were also resident in the adjoining Hotel, and they expressed the same. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Only one person on the bar so I waited ages only to be told that I couldn't pay by contactless! Very outdated by now, what place doesn't allow contactless? Also very cheap alcohol yet high prices.
Good cocktails and happy hour was great. In addition, the staff were nice and just gave good customer service. The only downside is the promotion is for 2 of the same drinks but they were great!
Castaway is a fantastic place for both drinks and meals; we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The menu features a wonderful variety of options.
