I believe everyone has that special spot in their city where they can relax and enjoy tasty caffeinated beverages. For me, that place is Catalyst Coffee Bar! The owner is frequently found behind the counter, and his warm and friendly demeanor truly enhances the experience. In the summer, you can't go wrong with an iced Maple Latte enjoyed by the sunny window, and in the winter, there's nothing better than sipping a pot of tea while reading a good book at a cozy table in the back. Highly recommend!
I just want to join the chorus of positive reviews about this place. If you're looking for a local coffee shop, this is it. They serve large coffees with a clear emphasis on quality. The staff is friendly and attentive, remembering regular customers and their orders. The shop itself is clean and cozy, featuring local art on display. We only stopped for five minutes while passing through town, but the hospitality we experienced in St. Albans left me excited to spend more time here!
Absolutely beautiful! I was in town for business and had to stay in town for a few hours. To support the time, as always, seeking local coffee shops to support smaller companies. It was a jewel to find. The aesthetic, upper notch and the two ladies behind the bar, beautiful. I can say that if I'm ever back in the area, this will be a stop site on the way!

Wow--what a gem. May have just had the best latte that I can remember in years. And internally connected to Red House Sweets. Double jackpot! Dozens of wonderfully quirky artworks on the wall as well to peruse while you wait for your order.
Cute little coffee shop in the heart of St Albans. Coffee is excellent, employees are pleasant and the owner is wonderful. They take their time and care crafting each cup. My go to for anything coffee when I’m in the area.
Absolutely love the ambiance and style of this cafe… awesome attached bakery (Redhouse Sweets) and both have awesome and friendly staff! Great place to catch up with a friend over daily dose of great caffeine!
