I have been a customer of this fish and chip shop for many years. The food has always been cooked well and I appreciate the option to order online. In the past, the portion sizes were generous, but I was very disappointed with my meal yesterday. Prices have gone up, which I understand given the current circumstances, but the container holding my meal was smaller and the portion of chips was noticeably reduced. There used to be a friendly lady who served great meals, but my son was left hungry after his meal. Overall, I feel that the value for money has significantly decreased.
We opted for two half-price orders of cod and a portion of chips. Unfortunately, the chips were hard and stale, and the fish was overcooked. This was the worst meal we have ever had at this restaurant, as their fish and chips are usually beautiful. We will give it another try soon, hoping for a better experience. If not, we may have to search elsewhere for our fish and chips fix.
My wife and I both decided to have the half price large cod, and a portion of chips all for £5.09p, what a bargain, the fish is always very nice and the chips are nice, the staff are very friendly, I would highly recommend this bargain, only available on Sunday's , will go back well done.
This 'chippy ' is at the top of my street. Pity! The batter is mostly rubbery, The oil that they use, in my view, gives the food a strange twang, and prices are slowly creeping up. I MUCH prefer Lau 's, just up the road.

The utmost disgusting chippy I have ever used. Chips were undercooked and looked raw, the service was terrible, the till operator was difficult to interact with. Avoid at all costs, money is better spent elsewhere!
I have used this chip shop many times and like being able to order online and pick up. Reasonable prices and always well cooked with great service. We use their meals in a tray a lot as they are such good value.
Absolutely love the place, but after seeing them drop the plate they use to scoop the chips up on the floor and place it back by the chips makes me not want to go again, shame as it's a lovely little chip shop.
The food at this restaurant was delectable with generous portions. The cod and chips were cooked fresh to order. The staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

Ordered large fish with chips. Fish was excellent beautifully cooked. Was'nt impressed with the chips they were too soggy for my taste but would go again
