Catch 22 Bistro - Tisch resevieren

My fiancé and I were excited to try out Catch 22 for the first time, especially after hearing positive reviews from friends. We opted for the Dinner for 44, with high hopes for a memorable dining experience since we’ve been engaged. Unfortunately, our expectations fell short. While my fiancé 's prime rib turned out well, mine was overcooked and dry, despite ordering it medium with a hot pink center. The mashed potatoes and gravy, another part of my order, lacked flavor and left much to be desired. When our server noticed the barely touched meal, she kindly inquired if everything was alright. I expressed my dissatisfaction, hoping for a resolution. However, the offered solution—a free dessert...

It was an average meal. Service was okay until the main dish was served, then it dropped off. We started with an appetizer of spinach and artichoke dip with pita bread. That was not too bad and it was a decent serving. Had a side of asparagus that was not good at all and it was a small portion and expensive for what they served. The salad was very plain with minimal toppings, two cherry tomatoes and a scant serving of onions. The fish and chips were bland tasting and over breaded. Went on Saturday for Mother’s Day dinner. It was busy but were seated right away. Our waitress, Michelle, was absolutely awesome through the whole meal. Calamari and Maurice salad were so good. The salad was very fresh, they got the dressing right, but missed the green olives. One person had a burger and fries, which were good, but the French onion soup was kind of bland. Two in our party had liver and onions, both were way overcooked to point that the edges were charred. Also had a hot fudge cream puff that was really good. Overall, not bad but food is pretty much average. (And have had better martinis.

We've frequented the location multiple times over the past many years under different names and have always been happy with the food and service. It is a great place to have lunch and grab a bite or to have a casual dinner with friends or family. The menu features enough items to please most eaters, young and old, and features many of the local freshwater favorites like Perch and Walleye. Their food is pretty good, and as you can imagine, the local seafood is pretty fresh. The waitress we had was so knowledgeable about the menu and all of the ins and outs of it. I was pretty impressed with her and her personality. We have been here before when it was busy and the service is still really good.

Went Sunday for lunch and tonight for dinner. The food and the presentation was Admazing both times. The amount of food you get for the price is very reasonable for these days. The left over from the 2 meals will feed us again tomorrow The service was Awesome too.

The sautéed perch was excellent, loved all the vintage chris craft stuff. Will take pictures next visit, salmon on first visit was also excellent. Little bit of a drive for us but worth it.

The Mozzarella sticks were not hot. Not much of a choice for a vegetarian. They cook with chicken broth also.

Swordfish was nice portion, little over cooked .Filet rocked it .
