As for the service, it was far from attentive. My mother ordered an entrée that came with a salad, but when the salad arrived, we were left to wonder—where's the silverware? It seemed to be nonexistent. Our entrees finally arrived about 15 minutes later, joining the mosquitoes and the now less-than-fresh salad at our table. And guess what? We had to ask for silverware ourselves!
To add to the frustration, the restaurant charges for refills. This was surprising, especially since it’s a bar/restaurant and wasn't mentioned on the menu. This restaurant has become quite popular. It used to be called Smoke Rise, but it has since undergone a makeover and now features a charming rustic northern design. Six of us dined there on a Wednesday evening and ordered a buffalo wrap, club sandwich, walnut salad, and Delmonico steak, among other dishes. While the prices aren't particularly low, the food was rather average. I would recommend skipping the fries; they were not good at all. Unfortunately, there aren't many alternatives in the area, so this is your best bet.
Had a GREAT breakfast here. Homemade corned beef hash was fabulous. My I omelette and ham steak was really good and well made. Their home fries are freshly made and very good (not nasty little fried potatoes cubes). The decor was nice. The staff were friendly...great service. The kitchen was a little slow. We were there when there were few customers but yet the wait still felt a bit long. Otherwise perfect!
We dine here fairly regularly in the summertime. Many of the dressings are homemade, the menu is extensive and the food tastes very fresh and is very good. Certainly it is not fine dining, but lif you're looking for a moderately priced meal I don't think you can go wrong dining at Cattail's. The only area for improvement would be adding a few more draft beer lines to expand their draft beer selection.

I hear it is pretty good. Tried stopping in for breakfast at 9:45am on a Saturday, but they weren't open yet. No sign posting any hours. I figured if they had a breakfast menu that they would be open at breakfast time. Maybe we can try again some other day in the afternoon. If you want breakfast I would suggest sleeping in that day though.
The restaurant has recently reopened, just three weeks ago. They offer an excellent chicken wing special on Wednesday nights. Our dinner was enjoyable, and the service was good as well.
The restaurant offers an incredible variety of options, and the food is excellent—though a bit on the pricey side. I would definitely go back again!
To the owner you should go on restaurant impossible cause this place could use improvement! The hash is the best!!! Should be on the menu:

The restaurant is closed on Sundays, despite the Sunday hours mentioned on their Google page.
I really enjoy their website, and I can't wait to try their food someday.
