We absolutely love Cattlemen’s Chophouse! However, we’ve noticed that some items on the menu seem to have lost their quality. The filet mignon, my favorite cut of meat, has lacked flavor during our last couple of visits. The chicken burger seems promising, but it’s served in a way that doesn’t fit the bun and is so greasy that it’s almost inedible. My Cobb Salad barely had any cheese or bacon in it. For a meal that cost $150, our last visit was quite disappointing. Have the cooks changed?
Eat very well. Service well. I know it's the time of the year, but the flies were extremely bad and we ate inside! Would like to sit outside when the terrace wanted to invite, but the wasp catcher said that wasps were a problem. Table was clean, but sticky like the menu. Cleanliness as important as eating! I would recommend the restaurant, but not in summer. If you travel 30-50 minutes, good you don't want to be disappointed
The patio is nicely built and sheltered, a lovely place for a summer afternoon or evening. The menu has a nice variety with some unusual items (for Lethbridge). The server and kitchen were kind enough to prepare an appetizer not on their current menu, which had been available on a previous visit. Definitely worth the drive from Lethbridge.
Great place overall, I would say the only negative(s) would be the price and lack of variety from the other restaurants owned by the same owner. Otherwise service, food and ambiance was all really good.
The rib sandwich tasted great, but was hard like shoe leather. It had to be more braise for an hour and cut over the grain. The rib steak was hard and boiled, corn was inedible Applecrisp was great
This restaurant has a great vibe (especially the patio), excellent staff, and incredible food. We’ll definitely be back! It was worth the drive from Lethbridge.
Great Food. Had an early reservation so noise level was nil. Generous portions, delicious food.
Nothing to add, Jagerschnizel probably would be better not deep fried..
The food was really good and the atmosphere was nice on their patio.
