Such a lovely, typical French wine bar, quirky and atmospheric. Designed to look like a wine cellar (or vault), with cosy interior and friendly staff. Great for visiting with friends for a catch up over a glass of wine from their extensive list, but do make sure to try the food too, sooo delicious! They offer sharing plates in the style of "tapas", which include charcuterie, foie gras burgers(!), escargot, beaufort tart and the local specialty- baked Mont d'or cheese, sublime! Desserts are great too and they also have a deli counter for takeaway. If staying in Le Praz over the winter months, do not miss this gem of a place!
We really love this place - it's a slightly unusual venue in that the interior is designed to make it look a bit like a cave (hence the name!) which gives the place a great ambience. There is a large selection of wines on offer and a small selection of meals - I had the tartiflette...which was by far and away the *best* I've ever had (having been visiting the surrounding areas for 20 years). My wife had beef kebabs/skewers which are cooked on open flames in front of you. One to visit!
Had dinner here with 10 friends, its a cosy little place with a lovely atmosphere. The menu seems small but what we had was superb and plentiful, we shared lots of small tapas dishes including the flambé chicken and beef a real difference and a must if you like to cook. Wine list had a good and varied selection and not silly money as compared with some places in Courcheval. We opted for the Gevrey Chambertin at €68 euros a bottle. Enjoy
We called in here for dinner one evening and opted for some tasty local dishes. We liked the tapas approach to the meal, lots of dishes to share. The flame cooked steak and chicken kebabs were a little bit of theatre at the table. The Camembert was delicious and we all enjoyed the local wine. A cool relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff. Worth a visit if you're in Le Praz.

Evening meal with family. Limited menu but everything we tried was excellent! Shared several starters - amuse bouche plate delicious. Kebabs cooked at table fun and very tasty. Great range of local beers and extensive wine list at reasonable prices. Lovely surroundings and great service!! Sorry we didn't try it earlier in the week so we could return!
Erg sfeervol restaurantje als wijnkelder ingericht met erg mooie wijnen. Heerlijk gegeten, vooral van de brioche hamburger met foie gras. En vervolgens verder gesmuld van de fondue. Wel dooreten, want de fondue wordt zonder brander opgediend. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is prima. De bediening is vriendelijk.

Super endroit pour apéro ou manger entre amis. Cave voûtée, couple de patron sympa, bon choix de vin ou bière. À faire si vous êtes sur le Praz. Ca change des arnaques de 1850 ou on vous sert un steak frites à 35 euros.

We dropped in for drinks before dinner, but the plates of Hors d'oeuvres were pretty well a meal in themselves. Try the local beer and the Savoyard wines, cheeses and cured meat,
Patrons super sympas, de très bonnes bouteilles avec des prix raisonnable. Nous avons goûté seulement les tapas qui étaient bons.
