Cave Street Fisheries

First time visiting Cave Street Fisheries, and they had a chip butty deal for just £2—wow, what a generous size! What I loved most was that it was wrapped in paper, just like when I was a kid. You hardly see that anymore; most places serve them on trays now. The bread was soft and fresh, loaded with chips, scraps, salt, and vinegar—it truly took me back to my childhood. Absolutely delicious! My son couldn’t even finish his, and we both agreed it was the best chip butty we've ever had from a chippy. The staff and owner were friendly and helpful—I even asked for directions back to the park, and they were more than happy to assist. This was my first visit to Cave Street Fisheries in quite some time, and I can confidently say they serve the best fish and chips in the city. The portions on their menu are huge, so come hungry!
