I really wanted to give this a three-evaluation, because eating was nothing to write home. it certainly does not have the standards of the rest of the French restaurants in our two weeks holiday. but the ambiente was wonderful, the...the weapon was amazing, and we were ae to get a table without reservation, which is difficult to do. my wife and I were with two different menus. she started with escargots she loved. then she received a selection of meats above the Alsace sour wort. of the five fleshes she liked only one very. the rest was just boring. I started with an salate and then had the entrecote with basilikum. my entrecote was cooked quite rarely what I demanded, but the plate was miss...
Hi all We came here because the kitchen stays open after and we arrived late after a long walk. Busy pleasant side alley with lots of chips and sausage being eaten. We ordered a simple goats cheese salad and Alsace flambé/pizza which were fine....However half way through the meal a male member of staff removed the shade which we were benefiting from. We remonstrated but he clearly had his orders. It would have been simple for madam Le manager to instruct her staff to remove shades after guests had eaten. Quelle idiot! Anyway the waitress we had was very nice the food was ok but because of this rudeness they earn my first one rating and a recommendation for removal from our walking tour guide...
My husband and I had lunch here and ordered a small meal as we could see they were quite big. When the young waitress delivered the meals we realised we had been given the large size. We questioned her about it but she just said...something in French and we indicated to her that it was all right and not to worry. She walked away and after that completely ignored us. She would not come to our table but looked after the people right next to us on both sides and just across from us. Finally we got some help from the older woman who got our coffees for us. This is disgraceful! We love France and the people but this attitude is childish and rude. We do not recommend this Restaurant!
we first discovered l’ami fritz when we visited ribeauville in our four-year-old daughter, who called her the cave (as in cavern, not a French wine cellar) and in our five visits in Alsace ever since we managed to eat there at lunchtime. it is not today's kitchen, but each time we have always enjoyed it for a classic Alsatian farewell. we were a little disappointed by dingen, which were a little restricted by Covid guidelines, but the restaurant had no control over it. I'm sure we'll visit next time thanace, we'll find ourselves here again!

we were saved in the evening of December by this good place. all restaurants on the main strip where already full. here we found space we were looking for traditional cuisine and that we had. a part of the children's menu...(classically deep fried by something that looks like chichen) the adlt food was easy and the tarte flambe, is one must try and also the zwiebel suppe I can't say that is a Michael starting place, natural but are considered to be quite typical.
Dirty (we did see a mouse), very basic food, overpriced... Disappointing for the area and the high standards of French cuisine. Avoid. You can easily find a much nicer place around. In their favour: service was very efficient.
the atmosphere of the restaurant is great, with the location in a cave. Unfortunately, eating was not very interesting and the service was not above either (both our wein and the bill was switched over with another table).
The restaurant is nice we did eat outside. The waitress was really friendly. We did eat an oignon soupe which was excellent..The cordon bleu was really tasty.

We waited for more than an hour for our food to be served. Half of it was cold. No excuse from the service personnel. Avoid this place. It‘s a tourist trap.
