Caverne des Brigands

Nous y sommes allés lors d une balade en vtt. Cadre au top, on se laisse tenter, et quand on passe a la caisse on paie 8.5euros pour un américain. Euhhhh disons très fade, un steak ultra cuit, on ne nous demande meme pas la cuisson.... et le copain prend une salade de poulet, et là c est le drame! Une odeur de pied emane du poulet, inmangeable, illico presto ca repart en cuisine. Sauf que l on s apperçoit que la cuisine est dans un état immonde, les grilles pleines de graisse brulée... et l accueil est aux ptits oignons! J ai jamais été reçu avec un accueil aussi macabre! Le bonjour il faut l arracher de la bouche, et le sourire je n en parle même pas! Ils méritent un contrôle d hygiène!Si n...

I did not expect to see a small cafe in the forest ground of Fontainebleau. Our office ordered a pre-arranged lunch for us. Our starter was very good, camembert cheese with salad. The cheese was a big portion. I thought that was it as I was full already. But we got 2 more dishes. Main dish was chicken with a very good sauce and the dessert was tiramisu. The place is quaint. Like a cabin.

We had a quick lunch before a walk nearby. You can choose from very simple dishes (sausages, chucken, salad... Fries) overall ok, portion are correct. Cooked on demand so we have to wait a few minutes. Staff (2 people) was friendly.

The great thing about this place is it is dog-friendly. However, the menu concentrates on meaty snacks and does not have enough vegan or veggie options

Good prices, service fast and kind. Lemonade or orangeade are home made and great. Even if there are lots of people there is enough room.
