Cecil Whittaker's Pizzeria Ellisville

Current Review, 2023 07 11 Our daughter and I went fishing, at Maramec Springs Park in St. James on a recent Saturday morning. As we drove back, she recommended Cecil Whitaker's. We called her brother and confirmed the toppings and placed the order. By wonderful co incidence, the pizza came out of the oven just as I walked in to pay and pick up. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. The food was awesome, as usual, and we enjoyed: large house salad with their great dressing large pepperoni pizza one size gluten free pizza for our daughter... which is good enough that everyone should enjoy it... great crust. So I placed an order online just so I knew what the price was but then it wouldn't allow me to pay online so I had to call the store. I ordered one large pizza with pepperoni half of that with mushroom a small person size pizza with two toppings, and 2 pounds of wings. my bill was over $60 and I was extremely surprised. The pizza was OK. It's definitely more St. Louis Pizza and wings were also OK. They did not give us the sauce that we asked for but we charge for that sauce. The service was great, though the woman was able to take my order and get me in there and out of there without a long wait.

There was a period where it seems Cecil was less relevant and tasty. A few years ago new management took over this location and it has come back with a vengeance. Great food and service.

The Cecil Whitaker we love and remember is back, this is due to new ownership. Glad to have it back and amazing food and dine in is beautiful!

This is the first time via this wonderful establishment! The food and atmosphere were amazing!! Definitely worth it!!
