My wife and I stopped here for lunch on a Thursday without playing our regular round of golf. The restaurant was quite busy hosting a private event with several guests in the large dining room and several tables of other diners in the lounge/ smaller dining area. Despite the numbers of people the service was prompt and the staff as usual very friendly. Our drink orders were taken quickly and promptly served and our orders of soup of the day and fish and chips was taken and delivered in very short order. We are from Florida and go north to Canada (our original home) every Summer. WE had to meet up with some people to follow them to their cottage..and they suggested we meet and Cedar Valley Golf and Country Club. We were DELIGHTED that we did. The atmosphere couldn't be ANY friendlier and the FOOD was simply AMAZING. WE went back there so many times during our stay and tried different meals each time. We live in a gated golf community down here and I sure wish we could have our club copy Cedar Valley. I would recommend this place to ANYONE...bar NONE. It's nice to play a round of golf and then have an EXCELLENT lunch or dinner. WELL done!!!!
We enjoyed a fabulous meal after a round of golf, food was excellent, reasonably priced and you get your money's worth. I had the Chicken Curry with Apples, my companions had the Reuben (Smoked meat) sandwich, a Cheddar, Bacon & Mushroom burger, a Pork Souvlaki. Very friendly staff and fast service, off County Road 29, towards Smith Falls from Elizabethtown-Kitley (Brockville) and I'm definitely going to go there again.
Went for dinner last night. Food was pretty good. Fish was a bit over done maybe 2 less minutes in the fryer would be great. Prime Rib was decent, it would have been better if it was off the roast and not pre-cut. The Broccoli Soup was excellent. Fries were great too. Nice atmosphere and the service was very friendly. Homemade Coconut cream pie with real whipped cream not the stuff in the can was a nice surprise.
The decor is nice, clean and attractive, and the service is fine. However, the steam table, all-you-can-eat breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. There is rarely enough food in the trays, and the food is sometimes cold. Men will eat anything, you know, but our wives are all refusing to eat there again. I should note, in all fairness, that the a la carte breakfast menu is always much better.Avoid the buffet!
I went with a large group of 18 people. We were placed in the front room so we were semi secluded from everyone else it was lovely. The service was very quick and the servers were very friendly. The chicken I had was extremely good however I did not feel it was worth the amount we payed.
12 of the family met @ the country club for a casual dinner...waitress handled it with ease...food was very good and everyone was pleased w/their choices...a few of us got mixed drinks and they were spot on...enjoyable meal w/family...recommend to others...
Went there for supper we ordered the fish and chips The fish was as good as i get fresh on the west coast, nice batter and not greasy The chips were good but the portion was very small they could make it larger
The god here is always well cooked and tasty. Service is good. Menu is varied and prices are good. Their Sunday "Nine and Dine" is a great deal and their breakfast brunch is good.
