I don't understand how this place is receiving 4 1/2 stars. I visited two weeks ago on a busy Sunday afternoon with my family, and it was understaffed and overpriced. I paid $16 for a small open-face roast beef sandwich that took over 30 minutes to arrive. It was topped with old, cold brown gravy over a small portion of roast beef that seemed like it had been cooked hours before. The side of mashed potatoes tasted like it came from a box. I won't be returning to this restaurant. Instead, I recommend checking out Lost Mesa Grill for better food and service.
I'm not quite sure how to rate this restaurant. The takeout sandwiches we had tonight were completely awful and disappointing. However, when we had lunch here a few weeks ago, it was outstanding. The staff can be hit or miss; either very nice or seemed bothered by our presence. Jade, on the other hand, was amazing - very friendly and welcoming. The prices for a simple sandwich are truly outrageous. We'll give them one more chance, but after today's horrible experience, it will be a while before we consider going back.
Growing up Creekside was my favorite restaurant. My experience with them after the change of hands was subpar. The waitress was rude to me because I had my backpack on a chair at my own table, I asked for a soda and a water and was treated poorly for my request. Comments were made about a young child present being too noisy and an inconvenience and then to top it all off, this restaurant unprofessionally harassed and attacked a customer who left an honest review.
the food is not worth the price. chicken fried steak had way to much breading and it was over cooked, the broccoli was cold and burnt, baked potato was luke warm. i had the garden salad the only fresh vegetables was carrots, no tomatoes, cucumbers or green peppers. i thought i was eating weeds. its a hit or miss on the food. I visited this restaurant on a Sunday after a day at Grand Mesa. The location is excellent, with a lovely patio next to a creek. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, as we had expected typical diner fare but found it to be excellent. The service was exceptional as well. I highly recommend paying a visit.
The food here was extremely average, nothing to write home about, but also something that I could’ve dealt with. However, the staff and the owners are extremely unprofessional and rude. Needless to say, I will not be going back and would not recommend to anybody.
The whole group enjoyed everything at the restaurant. Personally, I really enjoyed the Cowboy Burger. Thank you, Kodi.
