that is a long booklet in the city of Ferndale. history covers walls d off from the whole house suggests that this place is a well-loved local sign (which is exactly the kind of place we are looking for! . our breakfast was very good. everything perfectly cooked, served on time and coffee was plentiful! also very cheerful server that sometimes get lost when it is a whole house. the best part observed the more experienced server coach the newer server, how to keep yo customers happy. so remains a legacy. many good things to say about this place. good value. inquiries 100
Cedars Restaurant is a diamond in the rough. It's an historic location with the ambience to match. The food looks excellent (we had the wings), the staff are very attentive, and the overall experience is exactly what we had anticipated and hoped for. NEXT VISIT will be to the attached lounge (Outlaws Saloon) to enjoy this section of the space. From what we have read it sounds as though this may become a regular visit for us, at least on Thursdays for their WING nights! Can't wait!
only a friendly place to eat and catch up with friends and love. we need more places like this in whatcom district. I went to cedars since 1984,85. my friends and I would get serious pommes, but if I didn't mistake myself and ask someone to correct me, cedars was kitty corner from where it was now or maybe the restaurant was another name. babes always dives into the head. I can't remember! great eating, good service, clean. many thanks to all the work there. great job!
Awesome place. Kind and attentive servers, and great, hearty food. Decent prices, and cozy atmosphere. Knocked a star for something I just witnessed. A lady wandering around behind the counter in a puffy pink vest walked up to the salad bar, reached with her bare, UNWASHED hands DIRECTLY into the food, not using the TONGS RIGHT THERE, picked up a piece of food, dunked it into another container, and ate it right there. Cute little side restaurant in the town! Stopped in with a larger party and they were able to seat us immediately. The waitress was very polite and helpful with all questions about the food. Everything that I had was well done and seasoned well. The only complaint I heard was that the biscuits were a little too dense. I would definitely recommend stopping in for some breakfast here!
if they are looking for a hearty meal in Ferndale, this is their place. I was only at an early stage, at several locations and the service/food were consistent. not annoying or imagination, only huge portions to eat house style. the omelet alone fed me for 2 days (left). they have really cool old fardale high school class pictures back to the early 1910s in flur.
an ageing interior is the best jewel hidden! great friendly service and portions are large, so beware- ordered the cedar appetizer and wow that cache can feed 4 people. the clam chowder had on the recommendation of the server and it was not disappointed. also had the fish and chips and it was delicious! will be back to taste the breakfast menu.
Absolutely fantastic! This café matches my style perfectly and comes highly recommended. As someone from the South, I know a thing or two about sausage biscuits and gravy, and I can confidently say this café serves the best within a 100-mile radius. Food and service is good, but staff are very hands off. We were left alone in the dining area for almost our entire stay. Iced tea is neither sweetened nor flavorful. Blue cheese burger is a real stand out. Highly recommend this local treasure.
