A group of 28 of us from a retirement association descended on the restaurant for an evening meal. We have a programme of meals called Food Around the World, with the intention of introducing the association’s members to varied tastes and restaurants in the area that they may not normally consider. And so it was with the Lebanese. The organiser had eaten here twice before and, having enjoyed both times, hoped the experience would be good for others. None of the other twenty-seven attendees had visited the restaurant before, and from the positive comments there are at least six wanting to go back privately. I've been here twice now with family, and I must say both times we've had a very lovely experience. The owner is very friendly and warm; she's attentive but not overly so. The decor, music and overall ambience are very authentic and prepare you for the delicious food to come. And as for the food, it's absolutely delightful. I love that they have a good range of vegan dishes and none of them are short on flavour; both times we ordered a selection of mezzes with pitta bread and left feeling very happy, full and satisfied. My first visit to this Lebanese restaurant which left me very impressed. Very nicely decorated with a lovely ambiance. Service was excellent as was the food. Lovely restaurant serving good food and affordable prices. The restaurant is really small and the seating was a little uncomfortable being backed against the wall and having to keep moving the table to get comfortable.
