I used to think this was an excellent value for quality Tex-Mex in the neighborhood, but my recent visit left me disappointed. The tacos were completely lacking in flavor, and the portion sizes have shrunk along with their prices, which are now surprisingly high. To make matters worse, there was no air conditioning on a scorching day, and the front doors were left wide open, inviting flies to join us at our table. They do offer a complimentary serving of chips and salsa, which turned out to be tastier than the actual meals. The atmosphere was not enjoyable. The cook kept giving me strange looks from the kitchen. The food was mediocre at best. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but my experience here was less than pleasant. To make matters worse, the salsa tasted like it came from a can, and when I asked for more tortillas, they charged me an extra $4. While I don't mind paying for extra, the way they handled it felt rude and condescending. Perhaps it was just an off day for them.
So excited to finally find a great little Mexican place with creative, delicious food! I had a veggie bowl which has beans, rice, grilled mushrooms and grilled sweet potatoes, topped with lettuce, sour cream, guacamole and pico de Gallo. My husband had a carnitas burrito that he devoured. The guacamole and salsa are really good; salsa is a bit hot, which we like. Had Mahi Mahi tacos last time and they were also excellent. Beer and wine available.
Ordered a chili Verde burrito. The customer service was great, extremely nice and courteous. However the burrito was so bland. Meat was tasteless. The texture of the meat was more like roast beef also, instead of the traditional tezturw of pork I expect in a chili verde burrito. The chili verde sauce even tasted watered down essentially. Would not recommend.

Chips were light hot and crispy. The fish tacos had a nice crisp thin batter fried to perfection that complimented the fish perfectly. The Chimichanga was also fried evenly with a nice crispy tortilla that was well drained so it not super greasy. The carnitas seasoning was amazing, I could see these would?ve great in any other dish you would choose.
Great Mexican food. Absolutely the best mixed fajitas of any restaurant I've tried near Oceanside. For many years, they were the cheapest fajitas too. It's a small place with walk-up/counter ordering. Parking is generally pretty easy as well. Great service too.
Had the chicken tortilla soup. Very tasty and good portion for the money. Nicely prepared in a flavorful broth containing large chunks of tender chicken and vegetables. I especially like the chunks of avocado. Nice touch. Friendly service as well.
Great food and great prices! Good Mexican food in a newer upscale strip mall. Order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Definitely recommend.

Great place for mexican food. The owner is super nice and attentive. Ordered the quesabirria tacos, so good and jucy. Highly recommend!
Really good food Some of the best Mexican food around. We had albondiga soup and chilaquiles rojos with eggs.
