Wow, what a great meal! This tiny wine bar in Five Points must have a seriously good (and inventive) chef heading the kitchen. My wife and I both got the $27 three course meal, and were uniformly impressed. My meal started with seared yellowfin tuna nachos, a unique take on nachos balanced well with a tasty green tomato salsa and cilantro sour cream. Following this was a Tuscan chicken duo, a chicken sausage and breaded cutlet that were very nice, although they were eclipsed by the extraordinary collard greens. Easily the best I 've ever had! I’ve found my new favorite place for wine, appetizers, and main courses! The yellow tuna nachos sounded like an unconventional choice, but they turned out to be a refreshing and light take on classic nachos. My mother opted for the duck-fat quesadilla, which also seemed like a surprising pick, but we nearly finished every bite because it was absolutely fantastic! The coconut milk cakes exceeded all our expectations—the coconut milk really contributes to a light, airy, and crispy texture. Our server, Caroline, was exceptional as well. Small, quaint, and intimate. I have been looking for a decent wine spot in this city and I am happy to learn that I have found one! WINE LOVER FRIENDLY. Not a huge selection of foods on the menu but the available options are tasty. Snacks and desserts are offered but the main focus feels like it’s on the wine. The bartender definitely knows her stuff and was able to accurately recommend two different wines based off my palate and preference. I got a Skillet Seared Cab Flat Iron Steak (medium) and the Dark Chocolate-Caramel Soufflé. The entry and dessert were more delicious than they look… if this is even possible.
I dined at the restaurant with another couple, and our experience was rather uneven. The fish we ordered was outstanding, but the lobster pasta was a letdown—it was undercooked, bland, and seemed to be lacking both lobster and any kind of sauce. Both couples chose the same dishes and shared the same opinions about the fish and the pasta. On a brighter note, the cheesecake was fantastic, while the chocolate and peanut butter bread pudding was disappointing. To be completely honest, I'm not a wine expert. However, if you are, this restaurant could easily deserve a five-star rating in your eyes. We ordered the pork and the pan-seared steak, both of which were delicious and affordably priced. I also liked the nachos we tried—they were a clever concept and prepared exceptionally well. The dessert, however, didn't quite meet my expectations, which is why I wouldn't give it five stars. Still, I would definitely recommend this place if you're visiting the area!
Full disclosure up front: I am not a wino. If you are this spot very well might be an easy 5 star for you. We had the pork and pan steak and they were both very good and very reasonably priced. I liked the nachos we ordered as well and thought it was a cool idea that was very well executed. It misses five stars because the dessert just didnt quite do it for me but would for sure recommend this spot if you are in town!

This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat in Columbia. I have never had a bad experience. Service is excellent, food is phenomenal, and the chocolate caramel souffle is ridiculous. I love the fact that they have the 3 course meal for $29 which includes appetizer, entree, and dessert.
