I just had the pleasure of trying the Cemitas Poblanas at Cemitas Poblanas restaurant. I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into the bread that these sandwiches are known for, and it didn't disappoint. The brioche like egg based bread, with its toasted nutty sesame seeds, was light and fluffy, and served as the perfect base for the sandwich.The standout component of the Cemita Poblana sandwich was the house made Chipotle peppers. The smokey flavor of the peppers combined with the creamy avocados and stringy cheese to create a delicious explosion of flavor and textures in my mouth. And let's not forget about the onions that added that extra layer of flavor and crunch.The service at the restaurant...
The food was quite good! The shrimp fajitas were delicious, and the chicken quesadilla was fantastic. The mixed flautas were just okay, but the potato flautas were definitely the standout. The huarache was also okay. However, the guacamole had a strange taste that reminded me a bit of bleach—perhaps it was the cilantro they used? I had heard wonderful things about the Paloma drink. As for the water, it didn’t taste like Lake Michigan water—something seemed off with the pipes.
We paid an entrance fee around 10pm to be able to eat. Twice security came around and asked us if we were staying or leaving. Even though we were still eating the first time and the second time we had just finished eating, barely paying the bill. To me, that's super unprofessional and unacceptable. Definitely dont recommend nor will come back. Don't waste your time or money.
I had the menudo and it was delicious ? and my boyfriend had a cemita, he liked as well. To drink we had mango water and tamarind water, and horchata all 3 were delicious. There was a soccer game on all the TVs and when it was half time a DJ played some songs. A bit loud couldn't have a conversation. Our server was great.

Terrible service!! My husband, my son, and I came to eat here and we waited for 45 minutes for our food and they still forgot some of the things we ordered. Save your time and money and don’t come here !!
Service Good, clean place and good music (proper volume level).I ordered the stake burrito, Cuban tortas and chicken tacos, all was overall good.I recommend this place to support local businesses.
This is a small restaurant, but it's absolutely amazing! I enjoy visiting my relatives who live nearby just so I can come here. Shhh! Keep it a secret from them. The tacos are fantastic!
The food was delicious, featuring one of the best torta combinations I've ever had. It's definitely a place worth visiting if you're a fan of great food!

One of a kind Cemitas sandwiches. I had one and it lasted me for 2 days. Full of of flavor even reheated which is unheard-of. It's a must!
