We were looking for a breakfast spot by the river when we stumbled upon a café inside the courthouse. Wanting a change of scenery, we decided to give it a try. It was my first experience going through a security check before breakfast (chuckles). The café is conveniently located just inside the courthouse’s rear entrance. A huge thank you to Donna and her staff for another great event for us! This is the third time we’ve used Center City Cafe to cater a party and she did another amazing job. Everyone raved about the “build your own taco bar.” My favorite part was that Donna came to set up for us (every time), which took so much pressure off of us the morning of our event so we could concentrate on other things.

As for parking, there is general public parking available in the garage across North Street for both the café and the Courthouse. The restaurant is also accessible for everyone, thanks to a wheelchair lift at the courthouse. If you display your handicap placard at the parking lot entrance, you can park right by the public entrance.
Center City is easily the best lunch spot in downtown Wilkes Barre. The food is always delicious the specials are so creative. The lady behind the counter is so sweet and nice to talk to! Btw get your sandwich on the croissant if you can. It’s the best.
As for parking, it can be a bit challenging since the restaurant is situated inside the Luzerne County Courthouse. However, don’t let that deter you from enjoying some of the finest sandwiches in the Wyoming Valley. It's definitely worth a visit!
Had the pleasure of eating the sushi last night. Wilkes-Barre Roll and Edamame. The sushi was absolutely fabulous. I will be back for more. Well done!

I absolutely adore the woman at the front desk! She always makes me feel so welcomed. The staff are wonderful, and the food is fantastic!
Terrific food. We always use them for catered work lunches. Delicious. Very friendly staff too! Highly recommended.
